Hello
I am a global educator passionate about collaborating with teachers and organizations to create meaningful learning experiences. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in teacher training, instructional design, and curriculum development. My focus is on helping educators engage students through creative, practical strategies that foster collaboration, critical thinking, and cultural understanding. I am particularly committed to promoting language education and expanding access to learning for underserved communities. Whether developing content-based courses or facilitating professional development, I strive to make learning impactful, inclusive, and dynamic.
About Me.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of empowering educators and enhancing learning experiences around the world. My journey began at Georgetown University, where I spent over a decade teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to diverse students preparing for U.S. university programs. I not only helped them build their language skills but also guided them through cultural and academic transitions, ensuring their success in new environments. During this time, I integrated technology into my instruction, improving student engagement and expanding access to learning resources.

Seeking to broaden my impact, I transitioned to Diplomatic Language Services (DLS), where I spent nearly a decade as a curriculum developer and English instructor. I collaborated with language experts to design multilingual curricula, develop assessments, and create grammar manuals. Leading and training curriculum teams, I refined course materials to meet rigorous standards, ensuring they were both pedagogically sound and practically effective. My meticulous attention to detail and innovative instructional strategies helped DLS deliver high-quality language programs.

My expertise led me to Brazil as an English Language Specialist with the U.S. Department of State, where I conducted teacher training workshops across the country. Working alongside local educators, I facilitated interactive sessions on effective language instruction, helping them adopt new methodologies and enhance student outcomes. This experience deepened my commitment to promoting language education, particularly for underserved communities.

Currently, as an Education Program Specialist with the U.S. Department of State, I collaborate with educators and organizations globally to strengthen teaching practices and develop dynamic, content-based language programs. I lead initiatives that combine innovative teaching strategies with practical, real-world applications, empowering instructors to create more impactful and inclusive learning experiences.

Across my career, I’ve been driven by a passion for fostering meaningful learning, breaking down barriers to education, and collaborating with fellow educators to spark creativity and growth. Whether designing curriculum, leading workshops, or mentoring instructors, my goal is always to inspire confident, capable, and culturally aware educators.
